Saisonrückblick und Start in die 4. Liga! | We are Football 2027 (19) — Täglich Angespielt
Every season transition ends the same way: the ceremony plays, the payouts land, the screen fades. What this page covers is the stretch the game plays next — the fifteen minutes in which next season actually gets built. The source video catches it at the best possible moment, right after a promotion, when every one of these screens has something real to say: the league target needs setting for a division the save has never played, the budgets need splitting before the first signing, the kits need confirming, and the squad numbers need assigning before any of it can start. The club is 1. FC Düren, freshly promoted out of the 5. Liga West, and the whole sequence — goal, money, shirts, rules, numbers — runs on one connected screen flow that ends with an orange checkmark. Where that leaves the weeks before the first matchday, the pre-season guide picks up.
What does WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 pay you for winning promotion?
The confirmation arrives on the Aufstieg screen: a trophy climbing golden steps above the line «Herzlichen Glückwunsch!», then the two sentences that matter — Sie sind damit aufgestiegen! — you are promoted — and an Auswirkungen block with a single line: «Sie erhalten 100 Managerpunkte.» One hundred. The club card in the corner still reads 5. Liga West — the league the save has just left — above its 4,5-star rating. What the game does with those 100 career points is not shown in this stretch; how the point systems differ is spelled out in the manager personal life guide, and the road that led here is the promotion race guide’s territory.

27:10: the promotion confirmation and its effects line.
A short Saisonende card follows — two red player silhouettes chasing a ball while «Berechnungen für die neue Saison werden durchgeführt. Dies kann einige Sekunden dauern…» runs underneath — and then the game pays the spendable currency. The Neue Aktionspunkte screen shows a cartoon whistle gesturing at the season’s opening balance: 14, with the line «2 Aktionspunkte erhalten!» and the Grund: Aufstieg — two of the fourteen exist because of the promotion. The action points guide tracks where that pool comes from and where it goes.

27:38: the season-end calculation card.

28:04: the new season’s action-point pool, two of them paid for the promotion.
How does the Saisonplanung set your league goal in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
The first working screen of the new season is the Saisonplanung, and it opens with an opinion: «Unser Ziel ist Platz 13!» Where that 13 comes from — the board’s expectation, the league’s projection — the screen does not state. What it does offer are two buttons underneath: Absenken and Steigern, lower or raise. The save’s manager wants more than 13th place in the new division, and the frames catch the raising in progress: the cursor sits on Steigern, the target reads Platz 12, the budget row has already crept up in the same breath.

28:09: the Saisonplanung as the negotiation stretch opens.

29:08: the target mid-raise, the cursor on Steigern.
By the next screen state the target has settled at «Unser Ziel ist Platz 10!» — three steps up from where the season started — and the Steigern button has gone grey. Whether 10 is a hard ceiling for this club or simply where the clicking stopped, the footage does not say. What it does show is the price appearing elsewhere on the same screen: the gauges on the right, which we follow below.
How does the budget split between transfers and the club work in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
The Budgets table under the goal panel is the screen’s core. Two columns — Team- und Transferbudget on the left, Vereinsbudget on the right — and a Diese Saison row that opens at 732.000 € against 488.000 €. The controls sit directly on the numbers: a plus button labelled Budget ändern above each pot, and a paired arrow set labelled Anteil ändern between them. A Vorjahr row keeps last season’s split on record — 884.000 € to 524.000 € — and two Rückstellung rows show money parked aside: Rückstellung Transfers 165.000 €, Rückstellung Verein with a dash for none.
Over the segment the save pushes both pots up. The frame sequence walks the row from 732.000 €/488.000 € through 769.000 €/513.000 € to 847.000 € for transfers and 760.000 € for the club, a minus button now visible under the Vereinsbudget for giving money back, and finally to 847.000 € against 894.000 €. The right side of the screen narrates the consequence. Under Beliebtheit, the gauge for the Präsidium slides from 100 to 95 to 90 while the season totals climb — with a second gauge, Letztes Jahr, frozen at 100 as the reference — and under Verhandlungspunkte a card for the board man Kleines Kalle sits next to three lit pips and an «Aktionspunkt einsetzen» button. The top bar’s action-point counter, opened this stretch at 14, reads 11 by the final frame. What exactly the displeasure prices in — the money pulled out of the club’s pot, the raised target, or the spent action points — none of these screens print; they show the numbers moving together. The spoken commentary does offer one working theory (his claim, not a printed rule): the author raises the target precisely because a higher goal makes the board lift the budgets on its own, and he spends action points on the negotiation rather than dragging the budget sliders manually — in his words the popularity would drop «if we started meddling with the individual items again». The finances and wage budget guide carries the standing rules.

30:20: both pots pushed up, the Präsidium gauge at 95.

31:20: the settled split, 847.000 € against 894.000 €.
One more block on the same screen deserves a read. The Finanzen panel states: Das Vermögen Ihres Vereins kann deutlich höher sein als Ihre Budgets, da Sie natürlich nicht alles in einer Saison ausgeben sollen und dürfen. — the club’s assets can be far higher than its budgets, because you are not supposed to spend everything in one season. Below it: Vereinsvermögen 2,2 Mio €, Fernsehgelder Liga 29.300 €, and a Finanzkalkulation durchführen button. The gap between 1,74 Mio € of season budgets and 2,2 Mio € of assets is the whole point of the sentence: budgets are the spending allowance, not the balance.
How do you set the kits for the new season in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
The next stop is Trikots festlegen, and its instruction line makes the request politely: «Legen Sie jetzt bitte Ihre Trikots für die kommende Saison fest!» Two kits stand side by side — Heimtrikot and Auswärtstrikot, both carrying the number 27 — flanked by vertical color palettes: a Rnr. swatch for the number color at the top, then rows of club colors with fraction counters like 45/98 and 1/50 and 1/30. The help lines underneath explain the mechanics: Farbeinstellungen können mit Drag & Drop kopiert werden. — color settings copy by drag & drop — and clicking a garment or using the mouse wheel changes its style, with the right mouse button stepping backwards through the options.

32:45: the kit editor as the rework begins.
The frames catch the editor mid-session, and the fraction counters turn the rework into something you can measure. The first state shows a blue home shirt with two thin yellow stripes and a yellow-and-blue striped away shirt; the palette rows read 45/98. The later state shows both kits rebuilt as plain shirts — blue with yellow-trimmed shorts at home, plain yellow over blue away — with the shirt-color counter pushed to 78/98 and the shorts row at 25/50. Twenty-nine shirt variants tried on in one sitting: the wheel-spinning the help line describes, caught in the act. And for anyone who hates committing, the Gestaltung block carries the insurance policy in writing: Sie können das Design später im Vereinsprofil auch jederzeit wieder ändern. — the design can be changed again any time later in the club profile.

33:41: both kits rebuilt as plain shirts, the shorts row selected.
Which club rules does the new season ask you to sign in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
Between the shirts and the squad numbers, the flow stops at a screen titled «So läuft das bei mir…» — this is how it runs at my place — with the subtitle Bitte legen Sie die Regeln fest, die bei Ihnen gelten werden. This is the club’s philosophy dialog, and it reads like a manager’s press conference rendered as a form. Under Mannschaft: an Alter rule («Das Alter spielt keine Rolle für mich.» — age plays no role for me — checked, against «Ich setze auf Erfahrung.» and «Ich setze auf die Jugend.»), a Form rule («Die aktuelle Form ist nur ein Faktor.» checked) and a Rotation rule («Ich setze auf eine Stammelf.» — I rely on a fixed eleven — checked, over «Wir rotieren viel.»). Under Präsidium: a Strategie rule where the short-term option «Ziel ist kurzfristiger Erfolg.» is the checked one, and a Spielweise rule settled on «Ich will eine gute Balance zwischen Offensive und Defensive.» The Transfermarkt block lists three rules as toggles — youth graduate per year, buy-to-resell, only players who truly improve us — all three switched off in the save.

34:48: the club philosophy dialog with both popularity gauges.
Two details make the screen more than a flavor choice. The gauges across the top — 95 Beliebtheit Spieler and 90 Beliebtheit Präsidium, with Kleines Kalle’s portrait between them — are the same popularity meters this dialog’s answers must live with: pick a fixed eleven over heavy rotation and the squad’s mood math changes, which is the morale territory. And the Strategie answer overlaps directly with the board expectations guide’s subject: telling the board you want short-term success is a promise the table will be asked to keep. One naming caution: this is not the screen our weekly schedule guide calls Saisonplanung — that one is the week-by-week training table under the training card. The game reuses the word for two different planning tools.
How do you assign the squad numbers for the new season?
The last stop says what it wants in the subtitle: «Sie müssen jetzt die Rückennummern für die kommende Saison zuweisen.» — you must now assign the squad numbers for the coming season. The Rückennummern screen pairs the squad list on the left — Name, Rnr., HP, Stä., Stufe, Fo., contract end — with a full player card on the right for whoever is selected. The save’s list shows the numbering already under way: goalkeeper Alessandro Odinius holds 1, and his card spells out what a number-one card looks like at this level — 5,8 Stärke, 81 Kondition, 100 Frische, the Anführer player type, Marktwert 520.000 €, contract to 30.06.2030 at 29.000 € p.J., and the Rückennummer ◀ 1 ▶ picker underneath.

36:00: the number-one card of Alessandro Odinius.
The second frame catches the picker doing its job on Gordi Gordinho, a 22-year-old Dutch RM with 4,9 Stärke and a 420.000 € market value on 40.000 € p.J.: the arrows step through the free numbers — the frame holds on 17 — and the list’s Rnr. column follows along. One row in the same list shows why the screen deserves a slow pass every summer: defender Rechi, Sandro’s contract-end year prints in red, the same planned-career-end flag the squad screens guide documents from the Kader list. The card view here is the player profile in miniature; the player profile guide walks the full screen.

39:20: the picker stepping Gordi Gordinho through to 17.
That is the whole build: two point payouts with two different names, a league target raised from 13 to 10, two budgets pushed from 732.000 €/488.000 € to 847.000 €/894.000 € at the cost of ten Präsidium points, two kits rebuilt from 45/98 to 78/98, five club rules signed, and two dozen squad numbers confirmed with an orange checkmark. The season exists now — as a target, a budget, a shirt and a roster. What remains before the first matchday is everything the pre-season guide covers: the what’s-good-what’s-bad cleanup, the sponsor day, the Terminplaner. If you are patching together your own first career, the solution hub keeps every piece of that in order.
