The Realistic Mode plays by the rules the database hands you. The Kreativmodus — the game’s Creative Mode — hands you the rulebook instead: talents, injuries, the club economy, match behaviour and league law become sliders and buttons, adjustable at any time while the save runs. Our game modes overview shows where the mode sits among the six career starts; this page opens every panel.
How you switch it on — and why there is no way back
There are two doors. A fresh save picks the mode in the new-game wizard — that route also unlocks the budget-free setup below. An existing realistic save converts in place: gear icon, Optionen, Gameplay tab, In den Kreativmodus wechseln.

The dialog is blunt: a later return to the realistischen Modus is not possible, back up your save first — the mode activates as soon as you leave the options. All Steam achievements switch off with it.
Tuning Match/Spieler: talents, injuries and the match itself
The Spieler block carries the talent sliders — Jahrhunderttalente, Megatalente, Talente insgesamt — then position-learning speed, scouting speed and how quickly dissatisfaction fades. The second column owns injuries and condition: separate sliders for your club and the AI, in training and in matches, plus Eigene Kondition and Gegnerische Kondition.

The tooltip multiplies the probability of century talents in the running game by the set factor. 1 is the neutral point — below 1 happens less often, above 1 more often. The video’s example: two 100-talent graduates per season become roughly four at factor 2. The Match block tunes the sport itself: goal and chance frequency, cards, home advantage, stoppage time, and the weight of condition, freshness and speeches. The Auswirkungen sliders amplify those effects — the presenter reads his setup as +10 for him and −8 for the AI, and flags that as his guess, not a printed number.
More talent means more graduates knocking — the youth camps guide covers what to do with them, the training plan guide counters raised injury frequency.
Tuning Verein/Sonstiges: the club economy
The second tab points the same mechanics at money. The Verein block scales how many Neue Jugendspieler arrive per season (the video doubles five into ten), youth-camp talent frequency, staff salaries for your club and the AI, fan and member growth, sponsorship and advertising money, merchandise, and construction prices. The Sonstiges block reaches further: league TV money, cup premiums, economic support, performance-based attendances, age effects on transfer fees, interest and taxes.

In the shot Zinsen für Kredite sits at 2,0x — doubled loan interest, demonstrating how one factor warps the economy. What these numbers do under normal rules is the territory of the finances and wage budget guide; the sandbox is more fun when you know what you are distorting.
Aktionen: money, points deductions and the 50+1 rule
The third tab is a god-mode switchboard.

Managerstufe sets your real manager level, and the small print matters: the arrow only stages the number, Jetzt setzen applies it. The presenter did that, then reported he could not find the new level displayed anywhere in his profiles. Around it sit the convenience actions: learning a language fluently, joining the board (Vorstandsberufung), resigning after the next matchday, claiming 25 Aktionspunkte once per season (his counter jumped from 4 to 29), preparing a flotation, resetting squad Biss and dissolving time-limited dissatisfaction.
The loud ones sit on the right. The 50+1-Regel in Deutschland gets exactly two buttons: Schluss damit. abolishes it — warned that there is no way back — Die bleibt für immer. locks it in. Punktabzug Liga makes you league judge: country, league, club, number, current or next season. The video docks Gelsenkirchen ten points; the deduction shows in the table only once the data refreshes.

The bottom row is the classic: Ausgewähltem Verein Geld geben — pick a club, dial an amount (100 Mio € in the shot), press the button. The presenter tops up his own club: 2.5 million in his founded-club save, 90 million for Dortmund here. Where that money goes next belongs to the transfer market guide; changing the football world itself is the Editor’s job — it edits the database, the Kreativmodus only bends the running save.
Regeln: league law you can rewrite

Netto-Spielzeit stops the clock at every interruption and never adds stoppage time — active in the shot, valid from the next matchday, overriding stoppage-time changes. X Ecken 1 Elfer converts every Xth corner into a penalty: three in the shot, ten in the demo. ABBA-Elfmeterschießen reorders shootouts so the starting team’s psychological edge fades. The Saison block offers back-to-back home-and-away fixtures and self-picked cup opponents. The Tabelle block adds up to three kinds of league bonus points — won shootouts after draws, won head-to-head sums, high wins with a set goal difference — all effective next season. His verdict on the combo: pure Brisanz.
Ohne Budgets: the no-budget setup
Can you play with no budgets at all? Yes — no Creative Mode needed. The new-game setup, next to the difficulty, offers separate transfer and club budgets, one shared budget, or none.

Without budgets, the season-target talk states you may access the entire club fortune — 84.1 million euros for the video’s Freiburg — and the hub shows one budget line, equal to the bank balance. That 184 million in the shot is the video’s punchline: 84.1 million of fortune plus a 100 million money action — no transfer cap stands in the way of spending all of it. With budgets, the same fortune might still come with a 100 million transfer budget and a wall behind it. Managing either variant lives in the finances and wage budget guide.

Kreativmodus, Realistischer Modus or a founded club?
The honest split: achievements, records and national-team tournaments belong to the Realistischer Modus alone — the game prints that on the two mode cards, and the official manual (Steam store page, p. 17) draws the same line between database rules and self-made rules. The Kreativmodus is for experiments: dream leagues with a hundred century talents, a league without the 50+1 rule, no-budget challenges. If your fantasy outgrows that, Vereinsgründung builds a club that never existed — covered with the career starting points.
The Creative Mode is not a difficulty setting: challenge lives on its own screen, picked apart in the difficulty settings guide. Set the difficulty honestly, then break the rules with a clear conscience.
