Most guides stop at the final whistle. WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 does not: once the last matchday is played, the game walks you through an entire closing ceremony — a settlement screen that pays out your season bonus, the champions of five countries, fan elections, individual honours, youth medals, a social-media review and a season recap you can rewatch from any club’s perspective. This page follows that ceremony screen by screen, in the order the source video plays it. One caveat up front: the save belongs to the author’s self-created club Glatzes Elf, so every euro and every vote count below is an example figure from that save. The screens, the sequence and the mechanics behind them are the game’s — and how the club’s money side absorbs a payout like this is the finances and wage budget guide’s territory.
What happens at the Saisonabschluss in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
When the season is done, the game opens the Saisonabschluss screen — in the champion’s version shown here, with the league trophy on a golden stage and the line Herzlichen Glückwunsch! underneath. The text does exactly two jobs. First it closes the book: Die Saison ist damit beendet — the season is over, and Nach einer kurzen Pause geht es für Sie beim Glatzes Elf in die 2. Saison, after a short break you continue at your club into the next season, here the save’s second. Then it pays out. Two lines, two numbers that travel with you into the new campaign:
- a Saisonbonus of 30 Managerpunkte — the game’s action points, the currency you spend on interventions and boosts. The official manual caps that pool at 50, so a 30-point season bonus is a serious refill; earning and spending them is the action points guide’s territory.
- Fernsehgelder of 109.000 € — TV money for the next season, credited to the club.
Both figures belong to this save, so read them as an example of what the payout looks like, not as a tariff. What the screen does establish is the structure every save goes through: season over, short break, payout, next season. And a ceremony like this one has a road leading into it — the final matchdays where the table race is decided, which the promotion race guide follows to the line. One money question the ceremony itself cannot answer has moved to the community: a Steam report from 4 October 2026 describes a sale agreed in the season’s final days that went through without its fee arriving — the player reportedly only leaves with the new season, and the thread’s replies can only guess where the money sits — an unverified caveat the transfer window guide’s selling section carries in full. A second report joined the same family on 8 October 2026. A player using a single budget writes that after the second transfer window his budget got locked and now only ever shows the transfer budget for the next season, and that when the season ends his players leave because he cannot offer them a contract — the board is blocking it. One reply has since added a player’s threshold theory — carried there, together with two further same-symptom reports, in the finances and wage budget guide — but there is no official word: it stands as a single unverified report, the third in this family of season-boundary money reports. Update 3’s notes (14 October 2026) have since been checked against this family and name none of its symptoms — the closest line, „Fix: Wrong display of next season’s transfer budget on the home screen during the 2nd leg (e.g. after using an option to buy a player)“, repairs a display on the home screen and says nothing about the board blocking offers — so the family keeps its open, player-report status; whether the display fix covers half of it is a question only a post-update save can answer.

Which champions does the game show you after the final matchday?
The ceremony then zooms out to the rest of the football world. The Übersicht nationale Titelgewinner lines up five countries — England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France — each with its champion, its cup winner and the top scorer with his tally: Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC with Jean-Philippe Mateta on 16 goals in England, Juventus Turin and Atalanta Bergamo with Rafael Leão on 19 in Italy, FC Barcelona and Girona FC with Kylian Mbappé on 23 in Spain, a Borussia Dortmund double with Harry Kane on 17 in Germany, and a Paris Saint-Germain double with Valentin Rongier on 16 in France. These winners come out of the save’s own database and its own simulated season — yours will name different clubs. The value of the screen is orientation: you know exactly who holds every crown your next campaign could chase.

The Übersicht internationale Titelgewinner adds the three European competitions, each row with winner, top scorer and the all-time record winner: FC Bayern München take the Champions League (Mbappé with 11 goals; Real Madrid stay record winners on 15), Newcastle United the Europa League (Benjamin Šeško, 11; Sevilla FC record on 7), Lazio Rom the Conference League (Dino Islamović, 12; West Ham United record on 1).

Who gets elected in the season awards?
Next the spotlight turns to people. The Wahl Ihres beliebtesten Spielers der Saison is a fan election for your club’s most popular player: in this save 8,000 votes were cast, and striker Sven Schwalbe won with 7.8 percent — the card shows his full profile, market value (320.000 €), contract and his Teamspieler personality type. A small feature, but one where the fans get the final word.

The Elf des Jahres is the team of the season, and the two dropdowns on the right are what make it special: Land auswählen and Liga auswählen — country and league. The game builds the best eleven for whatever league you pick, and it does not stop at the professional tiers: the video reads out the XI of the Verbandsliga Hessen-Mitte, the save’s own league, assembled with club badges and selection counts, and one Glatzes Elf winger made the cut.

The Rookie des Jahres completes the election block, scoped by the same league dropdown. The save’s Verbandsliga shortlist fields three rookie cards — two goalkeepers and a defender, both keepers 24 years old and the defender 23. The screen never states an age limit for the award, so read the shortlist as it is rather than assume one.

Which individual honours does the game hand out?
Three more stops. The Tor der Saison ranks the ten best goals of the season across the database’s German pyramid — the list puts Joshua Kimmich’s goal for FC Bayern München, one that made it 2:2 in the 67th minute, next to goals from amateur clubs like FC Eddersheim or TSV Rain/Lech. Every row shows the match, the scorer, the minute and the score the goal produced, a Punkte rating, and a camera button to watch it back.

Goalkeeper and striker of the season receive their own ceremony cards, and the Manager der Saison election ends with your own card: the save’s manager collected Punkte 59, with the season record 22-10-5 broken into a home and an away line beside him.

And then the youth wing: the Jan-Binsmaier-Medaillen are the game’s medals for young players, awarded per age group — the shown Bereich U19 class, and the same ceremony runs again for the U18. Bronze, silver and gold each carry a prize line (10.000 €, 15.000 € and 20.000 € Prämie in the U19 class) and a Stufenfortschritt value of 10, 20 or 30 for the winning youngster.

How does the social media review work?
The Größte Gewinner Social Media screen crowns the season’s social-media winners, and at this level that means millions: the list pairs stars like Musa Barrow (7.354.777) and Karim Adeyemi (4.288.627) with their follower counts, each behind a colored progress bar. The list shown is the world view — the save’s Verbandsliga club does not appear on it, which is its own honest lesson about how far your channels still have to grow.

What is the Saisonrückblick in WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027?
The last station is the most idiosyncratic: the Saisonrückblick editor. Its subtitle explains the concept — Wählen Sie einen Verein und erleben Sie die Saison aus dessen Sicht!, pick a club and experience the season from its perspective. The left half holds the final table, complete with records, form and goal difference (the save’s league, with Glatzes Elf champions on 69 points from 20-9-3 and 71:41 goals); on the right you pick any club from that table, write your own Einleitungstext and Abschlusstext, tick Eigenen Saisonrückblick für den aktuellen Verein speichern if you want to keep your version, and press Saisonrückblick starten.

What follows is the season played out as a highlight reel: matchday cards with the result and a short generated text line — the reel’s first card, for instance, reports that the season opened with a 0:3 win at TSV Steinbach Haiger II that meant instant top of the table — until the whole thing lands on its closing image: the trophy and the line Sieger Verbandsliga Hessen-Mitte.

That is the whole transition: one ceremony, two numbers that carry over, and a season you can rewatch from any angle. What this stretch of the game does not show is anything about the squad — departures, arrivals and negotiations live on the transfer market, and the weeks between the ceremony and the first matchday open with the game’s own planning interview — the season planning guide walks the league target, the budget split, the kits and the squad numbers it asks for — before they belong to the pre-season guide — with the winter break and its transfer window (transfer window guide) filling the January stretch in between. If you are still deciding what kind of season to play in the first place, the career mode and game modes guide lays out the options, and the solution hub keeps every guide one click away.
